It was in 2004 that Barnsley CAMRA awarded its first Pub of the Year Award and Club of the Year Award. This is now an annual award and is only given to the Pubs and Clubs of Barnsley that serve continualy good quality real ales.
The awards are anounced at the April branch meeting and each pub and club has a write-up in the BAR newsletter with information on the date for the presentation.
