Thornbridge Brewery - Derbyshire
Major changes have been happening at the brewery of Jaipur… The brewery is increasing production and range of beers available. Installation of two new 16 barrel fermenters means more beer more choice. The team are also helping Andrea Pausler who is a Phd student from Udine University, Italy. Andrea has been working on a project with hops and how they impart aromas and bitterness to beers. Andrea has been really looking forward to working at Thornbridge and in addition to all the technical parts of his study the team have introduced him to all aspects of brewery work including cask cleaning and filling. (Hope you haven’t missed out the best bits though, ED)
The Annual Garden Party is set for Sun 6th July 11am- 4pm. Brewery and main house are open for tours and Thornbridge beers will be on offer. Full details are on our website at www.thornbridgebrewery.co.uk Proceeds of the event go to charity. Updated May 2008
